  • This long weekend, people across NSW will be out and about enjoying the summer weather with friends and family. The roads will also be busier with people making the most of the final days of the school holidays.
  • Many of us will also be catching a rideshare or taxi to get home safely, and the Point to Point Transport Commissioner, Anthony Wing, wants to make sure that every ride is a safe ride.

Woolgoolga to Ballina is the final link in the Pacific Highway, between Hexham and the Queensland border, to be upgraded to four lanes. Upgrading the Pacific Highway and carrying out safety improvements to the existing highway have brought major improvements to road conditions.

You have 28 days from when you receive the refusal notice to lodge a review application. 

  1. This review can be conducted internally by the Point to Point Transport Commissioner or you may apply to NSW Civil and Administrative Appeals Tribunal (NCAT) without an internal review if you believe it is necessary to protect your interests. 
    An internal review must be carried out within 21 days of the review application being received.
  2. If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome of an internal review you can appeal to the NSW Civil and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
  3. This review can be conducted internally by the Point to Point Transport Commissioner or you may apply to NSW Civil and Administrative Appeals Tribunal (NCAT) without an internal review if you believe it is necessary to protect your interests.
