Rail Operations Centre (ROC)
The ROC will modernise how Sydney’s rail network is controlled by incorporating dozens of different systems into a single location.
The NSW Government is investing in a state-of-the-art Rail Operations Centre (ROC) which will minimise delays and ensure when incidents do occur on the Sydney Trains rail network, customers receive better and faster information.
The ROC will modernise how Sydney’s rail network is controlled by incorporating dozens of different systems into a single location and changing our approach to managing trains.
At the moment we manage the trains and tracks, respond to incidents, communicate with customers and monitor safety from different locations and in different ways.
The ROC will help ensure Sydney Trains can continue to improve the service it provides to customers.
