Canley Vale Station Upgrade
Project overview
The NSW Government is improving accessibility at Canley Vale Station.
The upgrade is being delivered as part of the Transport Access Program, a NSW Government initiative to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure across the state.
As part of the program, the Canley Vale Station Upgrade will provide a station that is accessible to people with a disability, limited mobility, parents/carers with prams and customers with luggage.
The project is expected to be completed in 2022*.
Key benefits
- two new lifts from the existing footbridge to the station platforms
- new accessible parking space and kiss and ride on First Avenue
- one family accessible toilet and two ambulant toilets
- upgraded station entrance and widened footpath on Railway Parade
- regrading sections of the platforms
- improvements to lighting, wayfinding and CCTV.

Access and bus stop changes on Railway Parade
From 12 July 2021, the bus stop next to Canley Vale Station on Railway Parade will reopen for customers. The temporary bus stop on Canley Vale Road and the temporary night bus stop on Railway Parade will close from this date.
This will impact bus route 817 (Fairfield to Cabramatta) services, school bus routes 9548 (Our Lady of the Rosary PS to Cabramatta via Wakeley) and 9557 (Mary MacKillop College to Cabramatta), N50 Night Services (Town Hall Station to Liverpool Station), and 29T2 and 80T2 Replacement Train Services.
